Home Inspections

Complete structural and mechanical evaluation of a resale home including foundation, interior, exterior, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water heater, attic, and roof, and more.

Drone Inspections

Free With Inspection

We use drones on every inspection to help expose otherwise hard-to-see roof issues like defective shingles, leaks, improper repairs, and more. The use of drones also lessens unnecessary walking on the roof. All of our inspectors are FAA Certified Drone Pilots.

Infrared Technology

Free With Inspection

All of our home inspections come with a free infrared scan to help discover the presence of things that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

Sewer Scope

Our certified inspectors use sophisticated sewer-line cameras to inspect up to 120 feet of the home's drainpipe, to examine the sewer lines and other underground pipes for any flaws, imperfections, or serious problems.

Radon Testing

Although you can't smell it or taste it, radon is naturally occurring and may exist in dangerous levels in your home without you even knowing it. Our service tests for radon for 48 continuous hours using state-of-the-art radon detection equipment.

Termite / Pest Inspections

Our termite, pest & rodent evaluation includes an inspection for termites, pests, rodents, squirrels, wood-destroying insects and organisms & more. In conjunction with a home inspection, it is performed by a licensed pest inspector.

A Brief History of Kittrell

Kittrell, located in Vance County, North Carolina, is a small village with a history that dates back to the mid-19th century. The town was named after George Kittrell, a prominent local landowner who donated land for the construction of a railroad depot in the area. The arrival of the Raleigh & Gaston Railroad in the 1840s spurred the development of Kittrell, turning it into a transportation hub for the region's agricultural products, particularly tobacco.

Kittrell gained prominence in the late 19th century with the establishment of Kittrell College, an institution founded by the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 1886. The college was an important center of education for African Americans in the South during the post-Civil War era, providing opportunities for higher learning at a time when few such options existed for Black students. Kittrell College operated until the 1970s, and while it no longer exists, its legacy remains an important part of the town's history.

Throughout the 20th century, Kittrell remained a small, rural community, with agriculture continuing to be the primary economic activity. The town's population has remained relatively modest, and it retains its rural character to this day. The historic Kittrell Depot, which served as a vital link to the outside world during the town's early years, still stands as a reminder of its railroad heritage.

Today, Kittrell is a quiet, unincorporated community with a strong sense of local history. It is known for its peaceful, rural setting and small-town charm. The legacy of Kittrell College and the town's agricultural roots are key aspects of its historical identity.
