February is American Heart Month. In the United States over 350,000 cardiac arrests occur outside of the hospital per year. On January 2nd the whole country paused when Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin collapsed from cardiac arrest on the field. His life was saved by the fast response of a trainer immediately starting CPR.
It led us to ask, would we be prepared to do the same if a friend, family member, coworker, or client needed immediate CPR to save their life. We wanted to help as many people as possible be prepared to save a life if they were put in that position.
On February 10th, together with Forsyth CPR, Windward Pest Services, and Atlanta Fine Homes, we hosted a free CPR training. Nearly 70 people received hands on training. We encourage everyone to find a free class in their community to be prepared. And in 2024 sign up to participate in this event with LunsPro.
