Should You Get a Water Test?

You should think about getting a water test if your supply is coming from a well. Also, many older large cities, such as Atlanta, tend to have more contaminated water due to old plumbing and systems. Also many VA loans require a water analysis.

In our water testing analysis, our third party laboratory tests for E. coli bacteria, Coliform Bacteria, Lead, Nitrate as Nitrogen and Nitrite as Nitrogen.

Q What days can you do water testing?
A

Currently we can do testing on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. We are working with our lab to expand these days. If you have an inspection on a different day, we will still come out on one of those days to do the water test.

Q How long before I get my results?
A

Water testing analysis results come back in 2-3 business days after samples are taken from the home. These are sent out the same day with ice packs and are tested the next day to get the most accurate results.

Q I have a VA loan, do your tests meet those standards?
A

Yes, our water testing analysis are designed to satisfy a VA loan's requirements.

Q I have a well, should I use LunsPro for my water testing?
A

Q What are 3 impurities found in water?
A

These impurities include dust, fine sand, clay, dirt, and biological contaminants. Pure water is tasteless, colorless and odorless, but water from rainfall, streams and wells is known to harbor harsh chemicals and elements, including acid and metallic rust elements

Q What causes poor water quality?
A

Pesticides and fertilizers can be carried into lakes and streams by rainfall runoff or snowmelt, or can percolate into aquifers. Human and animal waste. Human wastes from sewage and septic systems can carry harmful microbes into drinking water sources, as can wastes from animal feedlots and wildlife. Also aged plumbing can be a big problem due to the breakdown of the pipes.
